Organizing for the Future
- Contact the WTA Secretary and let us know. We'll add your info below and let you know of folks to contact in your area.
- Join the WTA.
- Join some of the WTA discussion lists.
- Build a web page with content in your local language, and add a WTA logo to your website.
- Establish a regular meeting time and place.
- Bring in a transhumanist speaker for a well-advertised event.
- Start a transhumanist reading and discussion group using the WTA model study group curriculum.
- Become an official WTA chapter by adopting a group constitution and charter, establishing a person or set of people from your group to liaison with the WTA, and applying to the
. - Try to attend transhumanist conferences, or organize your own.
- Encourage your members to join the WTA. (Or ask them if you can collect their dues and send them along to the WTA - that way they can become supporting/voting members at half the usual cost.)
- Organize a transhumanist meetup in your town: transhumanism.meetup.com
- Reach out to other futurist, high-technology, life extension and humanist organizations in your area to build alliances around issues you share in common.
