WTA Chapters Around the World

Check to see if there is a transhumanist group organized in your area, or one being organized. If there's no group where you live, you might want to start one! Tell us if you are interested in starting a group: secretary@transhumanism.org.

Organizational Affiliation with the WTA

Organizations who agree with the Transhumanist Declaration may become WTA affiliates by applying to the WTA Organizational Secretary and Board of Directors. Liaisons may wish to subscribe to the general discussion list wta-talk. [See a list of WTA affiliates here.]

Becoming a Recognized WTA Chapter

Local chapters of the WTA are autonomous, and members of WTA chapters do not have to join the WTA. However recognized chapters may collect dues for membership, and may purchase voting (supporting) memberships in the WTA for their local members who desire them at half the usual amount. To be recognized as a WTA chapter groups must appoint a liaison(s) to the WTA and submit a charter defining the goals of the group and the geographic area to be served (if any; chapters may also serve occupational or interest groups). Local groups seeking recognition as chapters must have at least three basic members, and one voting (supporting or sustaining) member. Members of the WTA are not automatically members of any local chapters of the WTA however; local chapters may have additional membership dues and requirements. Liaisons should subscribe to the general discussion list wta-talk and the WTA chapter organizers list wta-chapterofficers.
