Membership in the WTA is free. Those who join the WTA as free, basic members receive regular announcements of WTA events and news, access to restricted parts of the WTA website, and a 10% discount on the registration fees of WTA events such as Transvision conferences. (Free membership does not, however, include voting privileges or full posting privileges on the WTA website.)

The WTA is incorporated in the United States as a
501c3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible for
US citizens.

Supporting and Sustaining Memberships
Joining the WTA as a Supporting or Sustaining Members enables you to participate in our cyber-democratic forum
"wtahall", where we select WTA's leadership and make decisions
about how the transhumanist message can be spread.
Supporters and Sustainers receive
- a membership packet, including a print copy of the Transhumanist Frequently Asked Questions and a WTA lapel pin
- 20% discounts on WTA conferences, events and products, such as
the upcoming Transvision
conference.

Dues for Supporting Memberships are just $50US per year for employed people in the
developed countries, and $20US per year for the unemployed,
retired, students, and people in developing countries.

- are invited to special gatherings at WTA conferences
