Nick Bostrom talking about the World Transhumanist Association which should be an umbrella organisation for all the other transhumanist organisations in the world. Some of the goals of the WTA are determining the tactics for presenting transhumanism to the academic world, the media and general public.

Anders Sandberg gave a talk about how to achieve improvement of the human condition using comtemporary methods, especially using various thinking habbits to improve your mental condition.
Informal talks during dinner, the most important (and most fun) part of TransVision 98. Getting aquainted with various other transhumanists. For several persons this was the first time they ever meet any other transhumanist in real life.

Garret Smith talking about cryonics. He and Max More were the first cryonicists in Europe. He was very pleased to be in group of people where, for once, he didn't stand alone with his ideas and opinions.
